Greetings,

We will be implementing the Apache / PHP upgrades in our announcement on our shared servers starting at 10PM on Saturday, September 22nd. We will be convering the servers over to EasyApache 4 which is a packaged based system vs. the current EasyApache 3 system which compiles everything from source. This will make it easier to implement updates as the entire software stack will no longer be rebuilt every time a change needs to be made. We will also be enabling HTTP/2 at the time which will greatly speed up SSL hosting on the servers.

Please note that while the servers do offer support for PHP 7.0 , 7.1, and 7.2, the default version of PHP will remain at 5.6 to provide the maximum compatibility for hosting accounts out there.

We expect there to be about 15-20 minutes of downtime for each server during which web requests or PHP requests might not work as expected. We will provide updates here and on our forms as the upgrades are implemented.

If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, please let us know and we'll be happy to answer them.

Thank you in adavance for your cooperation and understanding as we make these improvements to your services.

UPDATE 12:20 AM - We are starting the upgrades on our shared servers, starting with cp4. We will update this when its been completed.

UPDATE 12:52 AM - We have completed cp4 and are now updating cp3.

UPDATE 1:30 AM - We have completed cp3 and are now doing cp2.

UPDATE 2:15 AM - We have completed cp2 and the remaining shared servers.

UPDATE 10:00 AM - We have noticed some issues with the servers regarding the updates. We are investigating.

UPDATE 11:45 AM - We had to reverse one of the changes made with the updates. Everyone's websites should be back to operating normally again.

Please let us know if you notice any further issues so we can get them resolved.
